- Are you passionate about bridging the gender gap in HPC and promoting diversity and inclusion in the industry?
- Do you wish to contribute to the planning of VA-WHPC community events?
If your answer is YES to any of the above questions, the VA-WHPC Committee invites you to join!
Our mixed-gender committee has had representatives from the institutions listed on our Community page. We invite new representatives from these and other Virginia institutions!
Here are a list of some of the responsibilities for involvement:
- Meet at least once a month to plan virtual events and coordinate efforts to market these events.
- Collaborate with other team members to plan and organize VA-WHPC events, including develop event themes, secure speakers, and managing logistics.
- Update WordPress website with event recording and post new events to News and Events section.
- Promote VA-WHPC initiatives to your institution and the VA-WHPC mailing list.
- Members spend as little as 1-5 hours a month to support our efforts.
