The Data Analytics Center (DAC) within UVA’s Research Computing group is looking for an AI Specialist to join our dynamic team! As an AI Specialist, you’ll collaborate with researchers across disciplines, working on Deep Learning and Large Language Model projects using UVA’s High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems. This role involves working in both Standard Security and High Security Zones, so we are seeking U.S. citizens or permanent residents due to data sensitivity requirements.

Support RC staff in diverse tasks, including developing teaching materials, assisting in workshops, updating the RC website, conducting scientific software installations, and providing consulting support. Additionally, you will help gather resource metrics, assist with logistics/admin tasks for various programs, and contribute to computing activities reports.
