Debra Goldfarb

Debra Goldfarb is Director of HPC Products and Strategy at Amazon Web Services, where she helps shape AWS’s advanced computing strategy and expand the reach of HPC.

Over more than three decades in the field, she has held leadership roles at Intel and Microsoft and began her career at IDC, where she launched its High-Performance Computing practice and founded the HPC User Forum.

Her work has helped shape U.S. technology policy and the global HPC ecosystem, with a longstanding focus on broadening access to advanced computing and applying it to meaningful scientific and societal challenges.

A strong advocate for diversity in STEM, Debra also co-launched the Women in HPC initiative at SC14 and continues to support efforts to expand opportunities for women in advanced computing.
